About Lucy
I have been a tutor for over five years specialising in using books and reading to inspire writing, critical thinking and love of reading. I've tutored primary and secondary school children through the 11+, GCSEs and A Levels in literature and language. I've always loved English, I am a former bookshop manager and run a professional book club for adults, so I particularly enjoy teaching reading and writing through books. Alongside tutoring I'm a features journalist for The Times, The Financial Times and The New European amongst others.
