I'm a professional illustrator and artist with over 10 years of experience. I have an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design, Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, and a Master's Degree in Digital Media. I've also worked as a Creative Director and Art Director.

I try to base my courses around what the students want to learn. Since skill levels tend to vary, I have an assortment of exercises I can tailor to a student or small group. Usually I will work with students below university level or adults that have no formal art/design training.

I highly recommend Matt as a mentor for drawing because he has help me come a long way, I would have never expected to be able to form my own character design so soon. His critique each week are highly valuable. He has taught me how to draw by memory, and has given a lot of feedback toward improving my own character design. My understanding in body proportion and human anatomy are still lacking but I am able to see gradual improvement with time and practice.
