About Juliana
Professional flutist musician, with 3 years experience in education in children. Master's student in music therapy. I worked in the children's program at the Universidad de los Andes, in some Bogotá Music Academies and in the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra as a cultural manager for a year. I was also an assistant professor of Music History in the West at the Universidad de los Andes.

I prefer to structure the class by content, areas to work according to the subject of the class, so that the learning is a little more comprehensive. Mainly they are a diagnosis of the student's knowledge to know where we should start and then together with him (or the parents, as the case may be) we will establish the objectives towards which he wants to direct the class, for fun, general knowledge of music, or a more professional approach. Finally we will look for what type of music is to your liking or what type of music you want to study and from there start to build each class with objectives and music of interest to each student. Then the classes will be structured by content; for example we will warm up first, then we will see a bit of instrument technique, some more melodic studies and then a song or piece of music.

The class is made for its content, not for hours. In each class we will see the totality of the topics of a single area (Flute, solfege, theory or musical initiation) to have an advance in all the sub-areas of the class. Except for the test class.
