About Kaia
I am an actress and singer with a background in dance and physical theatre who has trained at Randolph College For The Performing Arts (DIP. Triple Threat). My training has since evolved through Second City Improv, several on-screen acting courses, and my own ongoing independent study of craft and acting technique. I've explored mask work, including neutral, clown, and Commedia Dell' Arte.
Since graduation I have developed a career in film and television, both as an actor and as a creator (producing, co-writing, coaching, etc…).

My method will adapt to each individual's needs, as every actor has a unique path to becoming a successful story teller. However, there are some fundamental practices that will guide an actor to their sense of self, and enable freedom in their work, through breath, grounding, and voice. I will always encourage this work, and teach it when ever necessary. Some prominent techniques I work with include; Stanislavski, Grotowski, Uta Hagen, and Rodenburg.
I'll also help students learn the business of being an actor. We will discuss self marketing, develop your "package" (headshot, resume, demo reel, audition materials, etc...), and over time we will devise a plan to advance your career.
