About Noah
I’m an engineer and math educator with a M.S. in Electrical Engineering. I’ve taught diverse math subjects in the classroom (9th-12th grade) and improved student performance and engagement. I’ve mentored students to improve academic morale and results while integrating engineering concepts to spark further interest in math applications. In the industry, I have analyzed sensor data using Python for product insights and improvements and designed real-time algorithms in C for enhanced performance.

Even for students interested in mathematics, the subject can be daunting and intimidating to learn. My approach is to foster a relaxed and conversational environment, where learning becomes a discussion rather than a lesson. By establishing a solid foundation in the basics, we can make room to tackle more lofty concepts with fun and imagination. The student will quickly see the fruits of what they have learned by applying them to video games, art, physics, or even music. Whether the goal is to master a subject or pass a college entrance exam, enjoying the process and remembering the lesson experience will deliver positive results.

I worked with Noah for several years at a school (tk-12) prior to 2020. As an arts educator, I thought it might be tough for Noah to engage students in the STEM subjects... Boy, was I wrong!
