About Leo
I have been giving lessons now for about 10 years privately, and 3 years within a public school (teaching classes of 20-30 children). I have mainly helped people prepare for exams, whether practical (like a drum exam) or theory exams (like a music reading exam, or harmony/aural exam).

I'm a Portuguese-born professional drummer since I was 16 years old. I teach all genres of music from Pop to Rock to Jazz, Afro-Cuban, etc. I believe versatility is super important, and fun! (especially as a drummer) I also teach musical Theory and Harmony and how to read and write music as well, whether for drummers or any other instrument. My approach to teaching is to try and make it as fun as possible, while keeping the discipline and technique present at all times, as I believe those are the key elements to learning something effectively. I teach absolute beginners or advanced players. Come learn!
