About Carter
I am a recent electrical engineering graduate passionate about showing you the other side. I landed a job as a controls engineer in a manufacturing facility, choosing between 7 different job offers upon graduation. This isn't to brag, it was because of the way I studied and that is the way I will show you.
I founded the STEM Student Support Specialist program at my university, specializing in breaking down difficult concepts, providing resources and guidance to STEM students, and reexamining the way we study and prioritize.

I thoroughly believe most concepts in the field of Electrical Engineering are taught the wrong way. Rather than throw a bunch of theory and equations, I believe in breaking concepts down into bite size pieces, understand what each question is asking, and going through each problem step by step to not just solve but to understand and solve any problem that may be similar.
Begin by outlining each lesson- how many problems, how to approach each problem, comfort level on each concept, etc. then move into breaking each one down and working through it until full understanding is achieved.
Fairly recent EE grad with a very good understanding of the pain of many EE courses, able to walk away from school with my choice of 7 different job offers, choosing controls engineering in a manufacturing facility- will work to apply concepts to lead you to the same place.
