About Bingyi
I’m a designer with a background in environment and visual design, and I’ve worked on projects related to games and creative industries. My training is not just about drawing well, but understanding space, structure, and how visuals communicate ideas.
I take teaching seriously, but I’m also pretty straightforward. I’ll tell you what’s working and what’s not, and help you improve step by step instead of just giving general advice.
I’ve worked with students at different levels, from complete beginners to those who want to develop their own style or move toward design-related paths. My goal is to make sure you actually improve, not just spend time drawing.

I don’t teach drawing as just copying images. I focus on how you see and think.
For beginners or younger students, I help build a solid foundation through simple exercises and observation. For more advanced students, especially those interested in design, games, or creative fields, I guide them to think in terms of space, structure, and storytelling.
A typical lesson is pretty straightforward: we start with a quick warm-up, then work on a focused exercise or project, and I give direct feedback while you draw. I’ll point out what works, what doesn’t, and why — not just “fix it” but how to improve.
My background in environment and concept design shapes how I teach. I don’t train students to copy, but to understand and create.
