About Rohan
I am a dedicated Chemistry tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching young learners. I hold a BSc in Chemistry with Environmental Science and enjoy showing how chemistry connects to everyday life. My lessons focus on helping middle school students understand the basics of matter and chemical reactions.
I believe students learn best when ideas are explained in clear and simple ways. Concepts such as elements, compounds, and reactions are introduced step by step. This helps build strong scientific foundations.
I like to use safe home experiments and simple demonstrations during lessons. Watching reactions happen makes chemistry more exciting. Students become curious about what is happening and why.
I often relate chemistry to familiar activities like cooking meals, mixing drinks, or cleaning household items. These examples help students see how science works in daily life. Chemistry becomes more meaningful.
Over the years I have helped many young students discover that science can be both fun and interesting. My goal is always to make learning comfortable and engaging.

My teaching approach in Chemistry focuses on making organic chemistry organised and easy to understand. I break complex molecules into clear structural ideas. This helps students understand how reactions occur.
Lessons include organic chemistry nomenclature, functional groups, reaction mechanisms, and isomerism concepts. These topics are essential for studying carbon-based compounds. They explain how molecules behave in reactions.
I help students explore reaction pathways and molecular transformations step by step. This improves their ability to analyse chemical problems.
Regular feedback helps students refine their understanding. Practice is an important part of learning chemistry.
Students who are interested in environmental and ocean sciences often appreciate the role of organic chemistry in natural systems. Carbon chemistry is central to many biological processes.
