About Emma
Emma has been Principal Cello of the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra, is currently a cellist with Kitchener Waterloo Chamber Orchestra, has toured worldwide and recorded with orchestral rock band 'The Red Paintings', recorded all cello parts for the soundtrack of Australian film 'Rise', performs regularly with chamber groups and is a professional member of the Ontario Regional Music Teachers' Association. She has a Bachelor of Music (cello) and an Associate Diploma of Music (piano). She is committed to giving her students the best, and most informed learning experience and regularly participates in workshops and events to engage with current pedagogical ideas. Emma prepares students for music and theory exams, organizes yearly student recitals and regularly teaches lessons via Zoom when requested.

Emma is a great teacher. She has been teaching for a long time and has lots of experience. She was quickly able to assess my level, set a goal for me and devise a strategy to reach that goal. She did all of this by taking into consideration my circumstances and preferences.
She is very punctual as she always reaches my home a few minutes before the appointment. She's also friendly and easy to talk to but also professional.
She teaches me Piano specifically. She helps me with Piano fingering, phrasing, nuance, music theory and auditory skills. She even recommended some exercises for strengthening my fingers.
