About Sabrina
I previously performed professionally with the company of First State Ballet Theatre and now focus my attention on teaching. My training began at the school of FSBT and I also studied during the summers at American Ballet Theater, Houston Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, The Washington Ballet, and Ballet West. I have performed principal roles such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and Kitri in Don Quixote, alongside many other soloist roles, in the corps de ballet, and in contemporary works.

I am trained in the Vaganova technique and teach with deference to anatomical correctness and safety. I like to talk to each of my students at length to discuss motivations and goals so that I can best assist you in creating a training plan that helps you achieve them! I have experience teaching students age 3 to 85 from beginner to advanced, so I am open to taking students of all levels.
For beginners, typical lessons include a basic barre and center class and a cool-down stretch. We will review all of the names of positions and go slowly at first to improve clarity of movements. Although it may not seem like a big workout at first, you might be a little sore the next day!

I charge an extra fee for in person instruction to cover time spent driving, and money spent on fuel and parking. Between instructor and student, this fee can be altered based on distance and whether or not there is a fee for parking. Thank you for your understanding!
