About Jamie-lee
With over ten years’ experience in the music industry, performing and recording internationally on both violin and viola- alongside a strong professional and academic background, I’m passionate about helping students of all ages and abilities grow into confident, expressive musicians. Whether you’re learning for enjoyment, working towards exams, or preparing for performances and auditions, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals, interests, and musical aspirations.
Experience:
Thames music service- Tower Hamlets- Head of strings Create a positive learning environment within both primary and secondary education. Help students work through ABRSM graded examinations. Working alongside Thames Music to ensure all students receive an equal opportunity to learn an instrument. Running string ensembles within the school for regular concerts.
Blackheath Conservatoire- Strings tutor Educating ages 4 to 7 years old the primary techniques of playing string instruments with encouragement to take on the instrument past the introduction week.
Aylward Academy: Strings tutor Educate students on playing the violin and all other aspects of music both individually and in groups. Working alongside the head of department to ensure all students receive an equal opportunity to learn an instrument. Read less
