About Lisa
Lisa Poushinsky is an artist, musician, writer, teacher, gardener, and all around people person. Director of Voyageur Art & Music School, Miss / Mme Lisa has been developing arts programming for and teaching at schools and daycares in the Ottawa Valley since 2012.
Grant writer and arts writer, Lisa received her B.A. from Carleton University in Art History with an English minor. Specializing in press releases and artists' and musicians' resumes, biographies, and artists statements, Lisa has worked for commercial and independent art galleries, visual artists, and musicians. A published songwriter (with over 100 songs), Lisa taught a 'Writing for Artists' course at Sheridan College and has given songwriting and poetry workshops at music festivals and music schools across Canada.
