About Kate
I am an award-winning professional actor, stand-up comedian, writer and teacher. I have performed and taught all over the country. Credits include Loserville in Concert (West End), Serpent's Tooth (The Almeida), Clarion (Arcola), Henry IV (York Theatre Royal), A Winter's Tale, A Midsummer Night's Dream Retold & Read Not Dead (Shakespeare's Globe Education), as well as appearing in TV and film productions for Netflix and the BBC. Additionally, I have toured and produced my own work for stage and screen (I was nominated for a British Writers' Guild Award in 2021) and I have also developed work for TV. Before moving to Seaford, I spent 7 years teaching across the country, and was a resident education practitioner at Shakespeare's Globe.

In our lessons, we will focus on the needs of the individual, using exercises to outline strengths, develop stagecraft, identify any blocks and build confidence. I love to work with students who are preparing for drama school auditions, as well as anyone who is looking to develop their skills on a one-to-one basis. I also teach standup, writing and acting through song.
