About Saul
I have a PhD in Politics and over twenty years of university teaching experience, specialising in political theory and continental philosophy. I have an excellent grasp of the subject material and have perfected my teaching skills over many years of lecturing and seminar teaching. I have experience of working with UG and MA students at all levels of ability, have a good understanding of the expectations of university level study and know what it takes to help a student succeed. I have a real passion for political debate, and am fascinated by the history of ideas as well as the implications for philosophically engaged critical thinking on broader social questions. When not teaching and writing (I have written and published over ten books on political theory) I enjoy cycling (when the weather's good) and reading ancient history.
