About Basilio
Basilio Silva is an editorial and fashion photographer from Colombia and now based in Miami. His photographic compositions are full of slightly provocative and mysterious images and stories. He started out as a documentary photojournalist, moving into fashion and commercial photography.
Silva's previous work includes a base in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Paris, France. A music lover, he has photographed artists such as The Kills, MGMT, Breakbot, J Balvin, Akon, Zion & Lennox, Maffio, Ky Mani Marley, Beatriz Luengo, Nicky Jam, Goyo Chobquibtown, Darell, YOTUEL Orishas, Boza, JenCarlos Canela, Arcangel, Kiko El Crazy, Luar La L, Cyn Santana, and others.
