About Maheen
Hello, my name is Maheen. I began volunteering for a small tuition centre in 2015 once I realised I had a gift for inspiring curiosity. With the encouragement of family and friends, I joined a local tutoring agency and began my journey to help other students make progress where it seemed impossible. I've worked with students with poor track records and students who have only weeks left until their major exams and with each of my students I have inspired confidence and habit. My goal is to take care of my students and establish an environment where they can thrive. I believe that once a student has created a stable ethic and developed good habits, these can propel them to make incredible achievements. Even that which appears hard can be understood with time and patience. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I have over 5 years of experience tutoring students from KS1 to GCSE in Mathematics and Sciences as well as training candidates for the 11+ for SET, CEM, and GL. My lessons are designed to strengthen and reinforce foundational knowledge before establishing familiarity with exam content. Each session is tailored to suit the current needs of the student. Lessons are typically 60 to 90 minutes long and begin with a revision of required knowledge followed by exam-style questions and end with a summary of key points. After every lesson, I will send a pdf document of my notes and 30 minutes minimum of HW designed to suit your skill level.
