About Asein
I am a licensed elementary teacher with a Master's degree in Teaching, an ESL endorsement, and nearly a decade of classroom experience. I am passionate about helping students grow academically and personally through patient, engaging, and personalized instruction. My goal is to build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and create a supportive learning environment where every student feels valued, motivated, and empowered to achieve success.

Hello, I’m Mr. Ta, and I’m excited to help students discover the joy of learning math!
Math has always been one of my favorite subjects, and my goal is to help students build confidence, develop strong problem-solving skills, and see that math can be fun and rewarding. When you join my class, you will not only learn math skills but also gain the confidence to tackle new challenges.
My classes will be held in small groups of up to 5 students to ensure every learner receives attention, support, and opportunities to participate. We will use Google Meet for live instruction and Google Classroom for assignments, resources, and communication. With my experience teaching both in-person and online classes, I will provide an engaging and supportive virtual learning experience.
Students will be placed into one of two groups:
Early Elementary Math (Grades K–2)
Upper Elementary Math (Grades 3–6)
Our lessons will align with state learning standards and Common Core standards, focusing on building strong foundations in number sense, problem-solving, computation, and mathematical reasoning.
We will meet twice per week for two hours per session, allowing students time to learn new concepts, practice skills, ask questions, and grow their confidence.
