About Eduardo
Mexican composer with more than 10 years of training in classical and contemporary music. With a postmodern attitude and style that explores the limits and doors of perception. One that incorporates western tradition with Mexican and Latin folklore, world music influences and mixes them with contemporary compositional techniques and electronic sound processing techniques.
He studied Composition and Orchestration with Dr. Gabriela Ortiz at the Faculty of Music of the UNAM. He has participated in Masterclass at the University of Vienna and the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria.
He has studied with important composers in Mexico and abroad such as Dr. José Juan Hernandez, Mtro. Leonardo Coral, Dr. Francisco Cortéz, Dr. Peter Ruzicka (Germany), Francesco Filidei (Italy), Yann Robin (France).
As a performer he studied for 8 years under the instruction of the great pedagogue and specialist in guitar perfection Dr. Antonio Rodriguez Delgado (Cuba) and has participated in numerous Master Classes with great figures of classical guitar such as Marco Tamayo (Cuba-Austria) and Alí Arango (Cuba- Spain). Main achievements:
- 1st prize in the National Composition Contest Arturo Márquez 2018
- Finalist in the EarShot Readings of the Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra 2019 organized by the United States Orchestra of Composers.
- Finalist in the 2020 Houston Symphony Orchestra readings organized by the American Composers Orchestra.
- Finalist in the 2020 Darthmouth University Composition Competition for Wind Band.
- Selected for the call for new Chamber Music "Resiliencia Sonora 2020" of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

I like to teach in private classes or in a composition workshop format so that the students are nurtured by the ideas of their colleagues.
I like to create a personalized work program that responds to the technical, aesthetic and artistic needs of each student. I work with a lot of emphasis on composition, orchestration and analysis. The primary objective is to provide the necessary resources so that each student can faithfully express their artistic ideas in the medium of their choice. Orchestra, ensemble, solo instrument, electronic music or mixed format.
