About KDARIO
I was born 37 years ago in Madrid. Since I was little, music flooded my life, and my parents were responsible for it. Both musicians started me on this wonderful adventure, resulting in a music professional who finished his studies, graduating from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de
Madrid. I have the CAP of music for Secondary Education, and the Technician in Early Childhood Education, because I consider that it is very beneficial for my career to become aware of all stages of education. I have worked for 6
years, and until 2009 as a fellow in the now defunct Orquesta Escuela de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid del Teatro Real. Later, that same year, I went to the United States, where I studied on my own, and some time later, as a result
of a disagreement with this immense land, in which my values or my visa could not find a place, I ended up residing in Colombia where I have been for 4 years, until 2014. There I have carried out social projects related to music and pedagogy, through the project "Tocar y Luchar", which uses the Venezuelan method of the youth orchestra system, and which performed in vulnerable areas of Bogotá, with the aim of creating a social fabric for children in these areas, through music. I have also taught classes and collaborated as a professor for the Sergio Arboleda University in Bogotá.
During my 4 years in Bogotá I worked as a member of the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, thanks to which I got to know many corners of the country, and outside of it , even going so far as to give concerts in Oman. In 2014 I returned to Spain, where with some difficulty I found something to work on. I am currently a part-time teacher at the San Sebastián de los Reyes Municipal School of Music, and I collaborate from time to time with the Madrid Symphony Orchestra and the Santa Cecilia Classical Orchestra. Music has given me the opportunity throughout my life to know the realities of countries that are very different from each other; USA,
Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Norway, France, Switzerland, Italy, Oman, Dubai… They are countries that are very different from each other, with their problems, their virtues, their culture and their people. Traveling and getting to know the world I have managed to learn to take the best
of each country, and to know the worst of each one.
