About Briana
I am currently serving as the principal investigator to a progressing confirmatory factor analysis study addressing the implications of stimulating self-concept development in cis-gender adolescent males’ intercultural empathy capacities as part of the AP Capstone Program project at my high school. From 2020 to 2022, I served as the interview department director for Novel Minority, a virtual creative coalition, in which I conducted interviews with published Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) creatives regarding their relationship with bigotry embedded into the publishing industry to create initiatives that provide resources for Generation Z BIPOC to establish a creative career. Additionally, since 2022, I have been an ambassador for autism advocacy non-profit organization, Luv Micheal, where I create fundraisers that aim to create positive media, educational and psychosocial training for the public and professionals in order to create cultural shifts. Throughout my work, I have gathered a thorough understanding of synthesizing research and relevant information into palatable forms of multimedia.

Through my recent clinical diagnoses of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), I have been empowered to understand that my divergent mental processes and failure to assimilate into neurotypicality, do not reflect my incompetence. Fortunately, this journey of exploring my neurodiversity sparked an ineradicable passion for psychology, neuroscience, and social advocacy. I ensure teach and educate in a engaging, interactive, and enjoyable manner. It will be my priority to provide academic and emotional support for students!
