About Ben
I am a Primary school teacher. I have been giving private lessons since 2018 in English, Maths and Science with a focus on reading skills. My students have moved up a few book bands in 2-3 weeks worth of reading exercises. I have done private tutoring with the Lightning Squad and I am trained in Switch On Reading as well.

My teaching methods for reading are adaptive to student needs and phonetic schemes used. I base my instruction from my practical experiences in teaching, tutoring for the Lightning Squad and Switch on Reading. I am patient, adaptable, understand students’ misconceptions and errors and encourage independence.
