About Katy
I am a qualified primary school teacher with a PGCE and a Master’s in Special Educational Needs. I have taught children aged 5–11 across different year groups in London and Manchester. I am passionate about supporting every child’s learning journey, whether that involves preparing for tests, building confidence, or tackling tricky subjects. With a strong academic background, including a Sociology and Criminology degree from the University of Liverpool, I bring both knowledge and enthusiasm to my teaching. My goal is always to help children feel supported, motivated, and able to reach their full potential.

My teaching approach is completely child-centred and flexible. I believe every learner is unique, and because no two children are the same, they cannot be expected to learn in the same way. This ensures learning feels enjoyable, engaging, and achievable, while helping children grow in confidence and make real, lasting progress.
