About Lorna
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher and have taught across KS1 and KS2 as well as teaching within a specialist SEND provision. I have been teaching in schools for 7 years and have been tutoring for 2 years. I am passionate about making sure all children succeed to the best of their ability and I know that sometimes the school environment doesn’t always allow this to happen for some children. I am a fun, energetic and engaging teacher who truly believes in ensuring all children reach their potential!
I will adapt sessions to each child as well as work closely with the child, young person and parents to ensure the sessions meet targets and outcomes desired.
I am happy to teach online or in person as per your request.
Due to having SEND experience, working specifically with autistic children, an in person tutoring session is preferable if your child requires. I am also happy to provide life skills sessions and EHCP/IPP based sessions.
