About Arouj
I am a dedicated, patient and friendly tutor with experience teaching primary-school children in England. I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree and an MSc in Healthcare Leadership from a UK university. I have experience supporting pupils with Primary Maths and English, Year 6 SATs preparation, and grammar-school entrance exam preparation, including Maths, problem-solving, verbal and non-verbal reasoning. I adapt my teaching to each child’s individual ability and learning style, breaking difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. My aim is not only to improve results but also to build confidence, independent thinking and a positive attitude towards learning.

I provide friendly, interactive and personalised Maths lessons for children from Reception to Year 6. Each lesson is adapted to the child’s age, ability and individual learning needs. I explain concepts in simple steps and use examples, practice questions and problem-solving activities to build understanding and confidence. I can support children with arithmetic, geometry, times tables, fractions, word problems, homework, SATs preparation and general Maths skills. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, enjoy Maths and make steady progress.

Details
£16 per hour for one-to-one online lessons. I also offer 30-minute sessions for £8. Discounted lesson packages are available for regular students. SATs and grammar school/11+ exam preparation is also available. Please contact to discuss your child’s needs.
