About Roshan
A Biomedical Sciences’ first-class graduate who has recently completed a study year on exchange in Australia. I am currently working in a teaching role at a secondary school. I am ardent, charismatic and understanding towards others with a motivation to teach. I have developed interpersonal skills and am able to multi-task and prioritise making me a proficient and adept teacher. My passion for teaching grew having had previous years of experience in the community and with children, whether it be teaching English to refugees, serving as a mentor and peer mentor coordinator for university students or, teaching maths to friends and siblings. With the eagerness to learn and progress, I look forward to passionately continuing to support the youth in reaching success.

I am well aware of the hard work and skill required to achieve top grades at school. As a tutor, I will tailor my lessons according to each student's level and only go at a pace they like. I focus on going through each concept and question comprehensively, ensuring students gain a deep understanding and full confidence in each topic. From demonstrating worked examples, to intensive exam-style practice, I effectively equip students with the prime knowledge and robust skills necessary in sitting exams with success. I like nurturing a light-hearted atmosphere when appropriate and, also ensure lessons are engaging and interactive so students gain the determination they need to develop to their best self. I like to reassure that no question is dumb so, I will make certain, students always feel comfortable and supported in clarifying concepts so that they are always left satisfied with their learning experience.
