About Skyp
I am an experienced violin tutor with over 11 years of teaching experience, mainly working with college students. I focus on helping students improve technique, musical understanding, and confidence through organized and supportive lessons. My teaching style is creative, student-centered, and mentor-based. I help students build strong basics such as posture, bow movement, finger placement, rhythm accuracy, and tone quality.
I also guide students in musical expression and performance confidence. I use modern and innovative teaching tools including slow practice methods, recording analysis, guided listening, and structured lesson planning. These methods help students stay motivated and see steady progress. I also teach basic music theory and sight-reading in a clear and simple way. Accountability is an important part of my lessons.
I help students set weekly practice goals, follow consistent routines, and track improvement. I provide positive and clear feedback. As a mentor and critical thinker, I focus on helping students understand both technique and musical expression. I guide students through tone control, finger accuracy, bow movement, and posture. Students learn to correct mistakes and improve independently.
