I personally prefer a lot of fundamental Math proofs to build a strong basis for understanding each aspect of the problems in hand. Subjects like Physics and CS have a lot of mathematics underneath everything, and I am of the opinion that this Math is absolutely essential to understand the minute intricacies. However, I like to break down complex Math to make it easier to understand.
