I am a practicing artist, writer and curator with a passion for indigenous creative practices. I have a Master of Fine Arts and often use poetry and personal anecdotes in my research. I have a deep respect for language and the power it has.

My teaching approach is collaborative so that students feel comfortable and free to express themselves. I tend to draw on personal experience and form a creative and rich narrative those events, and will teach students to be impactful, aware, and curious through writing.
