About Tomas
My name is Tom. I am a 23-year-old composer/arranger/orchestrator based in Camberwell. After having a passion for music since my very early age, I went on to complete my undergraduate (BMus) in Music at Goldsmiths University of London. Here I specialised in composition but also explored different styles of singing from Opera to Musical Theatre. I also experienced being a Musical Director on a number of different projects. After this, I completed my postgraduate (MA) in musical theatre writing at Goldsmiths University. Here I continued to explore composition. After university, I have continued to compose and arrange. This has included composing a short musical in association with a theatre based in Chicago, as well as being accepted onto the Grammy's inaugural Musical Theatre Task Force Mentorship Programme. Overall, I love so many different styles and approaches to music and would be excited to tailor my approach to your passion!

My approach to teaching is informal and approachable. I want students to feel that they are in a passionate, creative environment and that they can excel in whatever area of music that we are looking at. My lesson lengths vary from 30 minutes to an hour depending on what you want. I can also teach across all age ranges and abilities. I am able to teach from my house in Camberwell, over Zoom or I am able to commute depending on the distance. Whether you want to pass a theory exam, succeed in your GCSEs or just want to develop as a composer/musician, please drop a message and let's see what we can do!
