About Gus

I’ve always been a passionate teacher and it has enabled me to learn so much in my own degree and masters. If you can teach a complex topic to somebody else, chances are you have a comprehensive understanding of it.

I have taught biology and chemistry to my peers and colleagues throughout my time completing my A-levels, degrees and working at a biotechnology company.

Typically, I take an artistic approach including diagrams to illustrate biological and chemical processes.

I am now eager to share my own knowledge and experience to better the futures of students focussing on biology and chemistry.

About the lesson

I place an emphasis on understanding concepts in biology and chemistry before applying this knowledge to exam questions.

I will provide lessons tailored to difficult areas of biology and chemistry before approaching a series of exam questions.

This will enable the student to see the relationship with their own knowledge and what examiners are looking for.
