About Whitney
Hi, I'm Whitney! A Performing Arts graduate specialising in Dance and a current PGCE (Dance Studies) student at UCT. I offer engaging, learner-centred lessons that focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of the subject.
My teaching approach is grounded in the belief that connection comes before content. I create supportive and interactive learning environments where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating progress. Lessons are tailored to your individual needs and combine clear explanations, personalised feedback, creativity, and practical learning strategies.
I teach in English and work with learners of diverse abilities and backgrounds. Whether you need academic support, exam preparation, study skills, or confidence-building, my goal is to help you achieve your learning goals while developing the independence, resilience, and skills needed for long-term success.
