About Paulo
I am a Portuguese teacher with 9 years' experience teaching Portuguese to foreign students. Over the course of 9 years, I was charged with the task of preparing original materials for students from different countries with specific purposes. In that, I could develop some oral practices to help students improve their pronunciation. I am an enthusiastic about education, methodologies and technologies with a personal interest in literature, culture and arts. Portuguese Language Reading Teacher - PLE. Extensive experience in developing original materials for the teaching of Portuguese as a non-native language with emphasis on L2 pronunciation and acquisition practices. Committed to articulate teaching and culture through interdisciplinary activities. Passionate about literature, especially those of Portuguese language and fond of culture and arts. Good knowledge of technology and enthusiast of new methods and technologies of distance education.

I teach face-to-face and online. I have an intercultural communicative approach. As an enthusiastic about technology I designed my lessons with multimedia tools to encourage students to develop particular interest in learning the target language and autonomy as a student. Language must be for life. The classes I teach are in person and also online. The teaching methodology I adopt is the intercultural communicative approach. I use in my classes technological tools and multimedia materials to encourage students to develop a unique interest in the target language, especially to develop as self-employed students.
