About Stefani
My name is Stefani Martin, I am a language teacher and I work with bilingual education. I have a degree in Letters - Language and Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo. At the University of Porto, in Portugal, I studied teaching and psycholinguistics. Back in Brazil and already working with bilingual education, I also graduated in Pedagogy. I have postgraduate, extension course, by PUCSP in literacy practice for the training of readers. I really believe in the communicative method of teaching. I always use everyday situations in class that have to do with the reality of the student. The objective is to insert the language in the context in which it is actually used, thus developing a more natural and fluid language. Each of my classes is created from a specific topic, taking into account the interests, objectives and difficulties of each student. I also believe that one of the biggest difficulties in learning a new language is fear, especially fear of making mistakes, so I always try to give lightness to classes, inserting news, texts, games, music, podcasts, videos and movies. in class.
