About Celia
With more than 12 years of experience teaching Piano, I have successfully guided students from different age groups and backgrounds. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn Piano for personal enjoyment, education, or performance.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, motivation, and practical learning. I believe every student learns at a different pace, so I customize each lesson according to individual abilities and goals. This personalized approach helps students learn faster while enjoying the process.
Students in my classes learn piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, music theory, sight reading, ear training, improvisation, and performance techniques. I encourage students to understand the music they play instead of simply memorizing notes.
Besides Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These skills improve overall musicianship and help students become confident performers.
I work hard to create a positive learning atmosphere where students are motivated to practice, improve, and express themselves through music. My goal is to help every learner become a confident and independent musician.

I believe learning piano should be an enjoyable journey where students develop confidence, creativity, and strong musical skills. My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, and patience. Every lesson is carefully planned according to the student's age, experience, learning style, and personal goals.
The first stage of learning focuses on building a solid foundation through correct posture, relaxed hand position, finger exercises, rhythm practice, note reading, and basic music theory. Once students gain confidence, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive playing, and performance preparation.
I use simple explanations, demonstrations, and practical exercises to make every lesson easy to understand. Students are encouraged to ask questions, practice regularly, and understand why each technique is important. Regular feedback helps students stay motivated and improve steadily.
Students also explore different musical styles, including classical, pop, gospel, movie themes, and contemporary music. Creative activities such as improvisation, accompaniment, and simple composing help develop confidence and musical expression.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, rhythm training, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance skills. These subjects help students become complete musicians.
My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students enjoy every lesson, achieve their goals, and develop a lifelong passion for music.
