About Annabel
I am a Popular Music Performance Graduate from The University of Chester. I have been giving lessons for a few years at beginner level. I can teach technique on guitar, bass and ukulele to all levels. My previous students have come to me without any knowledge or experience on their instrument and have left becoming more fluent and confident players. I specialise in rhythm, chords and fingerstlye playing as well as lead and theory on guitar. I also specialise on feel, rhythm and scale usage on bass. I have a great deal of experience playing live in many types of bands and can give advice and lessons on how to become a paid, working musician in the music industry.

My teaching method is to get to know you as a player first, I want to know what you know and what you need to work on and also your musical interests and influences. This will help me to structure our lessons. Usually with beginners I start with a few basic scales on bass or some basic chords on guitar from well known songs in their favourite genre. Once these have been learnt, rhythm is key, we then take it from there with more complex rhythms, chords and lead lines. I usually teach from beginner to advanced.
