About Isabelle
Hello! Thank you for looking at my teaching profile. I recently graduated from Nottingham with a degree in Politics, and am now studying to become a Primary School Teacher. I want to teach because I know exactly what it's like to not thrive in a regular classroom, and feel left behind when everyone else in your class seems to understand what's going on. My lessons would strive to take these feelings away and help you achieve your best. My hobbies include thrifting, playing and listening to music, drinking iced drinks and going on walks. I love to get to know new people and hopefully make learning a fun and enjoyable experience for you. I believe in creating a supportive and personalised learning environment where you feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes.

Hello! Thank you for looking at my profile. I am currently looking to tutor any students from Primary Aged to A-Level in a range of subjects. My teaching style focuses on flexible and engaging learning based on what each student needs. I will take into account the individual needs of students and plan lessons accordingly. Having struggled with overcoming academic challenges, I understand how frustrating it is when your tutor doesn't listen to you. Lesson material would be a mixture of reviewing a specific area of the student's choosing, explaining it from a different perspective and breaking down key concepts with visual aids. This flexibility is reflected in the length of lessons, which can be adapted to each student. A typical lesson length for a GCSE student could be up to an hour long. I have experience working 1:1 with Primary Aged children, working with them through interactive and engaging interventions to help them overcome their barriers to learning. Lessons with Primary Aged students can range from 20-30 minutes long, with interactive worksheets to aid learning. If you struggle in an ordinary classroom setting and want to overcome barriers, I will strive to work together with you to overcome these and achieve your best!
