About Sawyer
Hi! I'm Sawyer. I am a current sophomore at one of the top 25 liberal arts colleges in the United States studying PPEL (Politics, Philosophy, Econ, and Law) with a minor in History. Although I am fairly new to tutoring, I am experienced in teaching others how to study (see my work on TikTok: @studywithsoybean) and I was an Associate Instructor at Omniform Martial Arts in Denver, CO for over 5 years. I taught taekwondo to kids age 5+ (and adults as well), meaning that I am comfortable working with students of all ages. I would love to help students with their history, civics/government, and writing classes. As for my knowledge in these course areas, in addition to my current undergraduate studies, I scored a 5 on my AP History test. Last summer I worked at the Colorado Supreme Court, which gave me a real-world experience in constitutional law, legal writing, and politics.
