About Reed
Hi! My name is Reed and I'm a sophomore at Reed College (yes, it's a coincidence!). I am an International & Comparative Policy Studies major focusing on international political science and economics. I've been tutoring for over four years in a variety of subjects, including math, science, history, English, Spanish, and Chinese. I have taught students from elementary school to college. I currently tutor and would be happy to provide some reference letters!

I'm a native English speaker who has been teaching English for four years. I have taught beginning to SAT-level English to students ranging from elementary school to college. I have taken the SAT, AP English Language, and AP English Literature and received high scores on all three exams. After taking them, I have prepared students for these tests.
I like to make my lesson plans engaging and fun, so I create a variety of activities depending on what my students want to work on. This includes games, Kahoots, worksheets, and writing practice that are all custom-made to the student's needs. I also help students with their schoolwork and homework if needed. I have experience working on grammar, reading, writing, spelling, pronunciation, vocabulary, and speaking. I'd love to chat to see if we're a good fit!
