I'm a perfectionist when it comes to playing the piano. My first year at Linfield College I played on stage. In front of about 12 professors. I was living at failing hall and the pianos were downstairs by the washer and dryers. I would see my friends come by where I could see their shoes. There was a window next to me. I was basically in the basement. I was taught by a teacher that played on the Oregon Symphony. I had several teachers and all of them have made a vast impression on my life.
