About Kathleen
"Seventeen years of teaching violin has taught me how to listen closely to what players need. I am a musician rooted in oral tradition. My work involves helping returning learners find their footing again. Many teens come to me looking to bridge the gap between casual playing and formal skill.
I assist intermediate students who want to improve their intonation and tone production. Shifting positions can feel daunting without the right guidance. I often help players transition into orchestral playing with more confidence. We will work on spiccato and staccato bowing to sharpen your control.
Vibrato and sight reading become much easier once you understand the underlying patterns. Do you feel like you are ready to refine your sound today?"
