About Talia
I am a piano tutor with over 10 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a piano emphasis. I have extensive expertise in teaching a variety of instruments, including Grand, Player, Digital, Upright, Classical, Electric Keyboard, and Acoustic Pianos. My lessons cover chord theory, ear training, improvisation, and many aspects of expressive playing. I take a student-centered approach, tailoring each lesson to meet the goals and abilities of individual learners. Whether working with school students, adults, or professional musicians, I focus on building both technical skill and musical creativity. Lessons are designed to engage and inspire, helping students progress at their own pace. I have guided learners from Beginner to Advanced levels, as well as those at the Professional or Expert stage. My teaching emphasizes a balance of foundational technique, musical interpretation, and improvisational freedom. Students gain confidence in performance while developing a deeper understanding of music theory and practice. Each session combines structured exercises with creative exploration to keep learning enjoyable and meaningful. I aim to nurture both skill and passion for music, helping students express themselves fully at the piano. Together, we explore music in ways that are fun, rewarding, and inspiring.
