About Hope
I am a piano tutor with 3 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Music in Collaborative Piano. My teaching approach emphasizes critical thinking, musicality, and individualized learning to help each student reach their full potential. I believe that understanding music deeply comes from combining theory, ear training, history, and technical skills in every lesson. I have worked with students from Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate levels, as well as Professional and Expert learners. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, pace, and learning style, ensuring progress feels meaningful and achievable. I focus on developing expressive playing while strengthening technique, sight-reading, and interpretive skills. My sessions encourage curiosity, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the art of music. I guide students to think critically about phrasing, dynamics, and musical structure, nurturing both confidence and independence at the piano.
