About Kylie
I am a piano tutor with 9 years of experience and a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Education. My musical journey began with classical training, where I developed strong technical and expressive skills. This shaped my structured teaching approach.
I have worked with students of all levels, helping them improve technique, reading ability, and performance confidence. I focus on building strong basics first, ensuring long-term musical growth. My teaching style is patient, clear, and supportive.
Outside teaching, I continue to study piano repertoire and explore different musical styles. This helps me bring depth and variety into my lessons. My goal is to help students become confident and expressive piano players.

My piano lessons focus on helping students develop strong finger control, rhythm accuracy, and musical understanding in a structured way. I teach note reading, hand coordination, scales, chords, timing, and expression step by step. Each topic is broken down clearly so students can learn without stress. The goal is steady and confident progress.
I include guided practice sessions such as finger exercises, simple pieces, duet playing, and rhythm drills. Students are encouraged to practice slowly so they can build accuracy and control. I also provide gentle correction so learners feel supported during improvement. Each lesson is adjusted based on individual learning speed.
As students progress, I introduce dynamics, pedaling, advanced pieces, and expressive interpretation. I encourage them to play with feeling and understand musical structure deeply. Over time, students gain confidence in performance and musical expression. My lessons balance discipline with creativity.
