About Rachel
I am a pianist and music teacher with experience working with children and adults in different learning contexts. Music has been a consistent part of my life, both personally and professionally, and continues to shape the way I understand learning and communication.
I am currently pursuing a professional path in music therapy, which reflects my broader interest in how music supports attention, memory, and cognitive development. This perspective also informs my teaching in a practical way, especially when working with beginners or learners returning to music later in life.
I see learning an instrument as something that engages the mind in a deep and meaningful way, while also building confidence and focus over time. In my teaching, I aim to create a calm and structured space where students can develop at their own pace and stay connected to the process.

My lessons are for children and adults at beginner and early intermediate level who would like to learn piano in a relaxed and supportive environment. I adapt each lesson to the individual student and take time to understand their personal goals, interests, and way of learning.
I aim to create a space where students feel comfortable, encouraged, and able to progress at their own pace. Rather than following a fixed path, we focus on what feels meaningful and motivating for each person, whether that is playing for enjoyment, building confidence, or developing a solid musical foundation.
My approach combines gentle structure with flexibility, so that learning feels clear but never overwhelming. I find that progress comes most naturally when students feel connected to what they are playing and enjoy the process along the way.
