About Lena
I am a piano tutor with 11 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Performance. My passion for piano began with the instrument’s ability to create both melody and harmony, allowing a single player to tell a complete musical story. Teaching piano has become deeply meaningful to me because I get to support students as they discover their own confidence and musical voice.
My teaching style is structured, encouraging, and focused on long-term growth. I help students build strong fundamentals such as finger independence, reading fluency, rhythm steadiness, and expressive tone shaping. Many learners come to piano lessons seeking both discipline and creativity, and I enjoy guiding them in balancing technical clarity with emotional expression. I believe progress comes best when students feel supported and motivated, not pressured.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with piano through repertoire study, ensemble coaching, and continued exploration of music education methods. Watching students grow from beginners into confident performers is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. My goal is to help you feel inspired, capable, and proud at the keyboard. Together, we will build a piano journey filled with progress, joy, and artistry.

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop real musical fluency from the very beginning. Piano is a powerful instrument because it teaches coordination, listening, rhythm, and expression all at once, and I guide learners through these elements in a calm, supportive way. Each lesson focuses on helping students feel comfortable at the keyboard while building strong foundations in technique and musical understanding. I create an environment where students feel encouraged to explore, make mistakes, and grow steadily with confidence.
In our sessions, we work on finger strength, independence exercises, reading fluency, rhythm accuracy, and expressive dynamics. Beginners learn posture, basic hand coordination, simple melodies, and foundational music reading skills. Intermediate learners develop smoother transitions, stronger chord playing, pedal control, and more advanced rhythmic patterns. Advanced students focus on interpretation, performance preparation, stylistic refinement, and building a repertoire that reflects their musical identity. I also include duet playing and interactive rhythm training so students experience piano as a living, joyful musical language.
Piano lessons offer more than technical progress—they build creativity, focus, and emotional expression. My goal is to help learners feel proud of their sound and excited about their improvement. Over time, students develop confidence not only in music, but in their ability to master complex skills. Each lesson becomes a step toward musical freedom and lifelong enjoyment.
