About Grandy
I am a professional Piano tutor with 19 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals learn Piano with confidence and enjoyment. I believe that every student has the ability to become a good musician with the right guidance and consistent practice.
My teaching approach is based on patience, communication, and personalized learning. I take time to understand each student's goals, strengths, and learning style before creating a lesson plan that suits their needs. Whether you want to learn for fun, prepare for exams, perform on stage, or simply improve your skills, I provide clear and supportive instruction.
My lessons include piano techniques, finger exercises, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I also teach proper hand positioning, posture, and effective practice routines that help students improve faster.
Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard skills, music reading, and basic music theory. These subjects help students build a stronger musical foundation and become more confident performers.
I am committed to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their creativity. My goal is to help every student enjoy learning Piano while building confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching philosophy is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, and lifelong learning. I believe piano education should not only teach students how to play but also help them understand, appreciate, and enjoy music. Every lesson is personalized to support each student's goals and interests.
Students begin by mastering posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. Once they gain confidence, they move forward with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive playing, and performance preparation.
Every lesson includes demonstrations, practical exercises, listening practice, and regular progress reviews. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore new musical ideas, and develop disciplined practice habits that support long-term improvement.
Students learn music from classical, pop, worship, movie, and contemporary styles while strengthening creativity through improvisation and accompaniment. These activities help students become expressive and well-rounded performers.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation. These supporting subjects complete their musical education.
My goal is to inspire every student to become a confident pianist who enjoys learning, performing, and sharing music throughout life.
