About Jack
I am a pianist/composer/music teacher specialising in Jazz. I can teach jazz piano to Degree Level, classical piano to intermediate level (can teach grades) and music theory to degree level.
Just finished the first year of a 2 year MA in Jazz at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. Plenty of performance experience (I also performed on cruise ships for two years) and teaching experience (I have taught at Truro College, Bellingham Music Centre, Kernow Music School and given private one to one lessons).
In 2014 I graduated from a BA (Hons) Contemporary World Jazz with first class honours.

I want to do what's best for you!
I have a personal teaching method that is inspired by many great musicians and teachers that I have learned from over the years, as well as some psychological insights into practice.
However, it is important to remember that every student is unique and has different interests and a different way of learning. I want to teach what is best for you, in a way that is best for you, whilst covering the things that interest you!
