About Simone
With 18 years of piano teaching experience and a Doctorate in Piano Performance and Pedagogical Studies, I have mentored students preparing for competitions, examinations, and personal artistic enrichment. My doctoral research centred on interpretive analysis and advanced pedagogical methodologies.

My piano lessons are carefully structured to strengthen technical fluency while nurturing artistic interpretation and expressive individuality. At the beginning of training, I assess posture alignment, wrist flexibility, finger strength, rhythmic accuracy, and tonal control. Foundational sessions focus on scale refinement, arpeggio coordination, articulation clarity, and dynamic balance. I provide detailed demonstrations illustrating how arm weight, finger curvature, and touch sensitivity influence tonal colour and phrasing nuance. Structured warm-up routines are implemented to enhance coordination and stamina progressively without tension.
As students advance, we explore harmonic analysis, stylistic interpretation across periods, pedalling technique refinement, and memory development strategies. Sight-reading drills and rhythmic variation exercises strengthen adaptability and musical responsiveness. Constructive feedback addresses phrasing sophistication, timing precision, and expressive control, ensuring measurable technical and artistic growth.
Performance preparation remains integral throughout instruction. I conduct simulated recital experiences, refine stage etiquette, and introduce focus techniques to manage performance pressure. Through disciplined rehearsal planning and interpretive refinement, students develop composure and artistic authority. My objective is to cultivate pianists who combine disciplined technique with compelling musical storytelling.
