About Domonique
Some teachers scare students into practicing. I prefer to bribe mine with humor, candied fruit, and the occasional “you’re actually getting good at this!” compliment. My students laugh, roll their eyes, and then surprise themselves by actually improving! I’m funny, relatable, and can make RCM scales feel less like medieval torture. Whether you’re 5 or 55, I’ll help you play piano without wanting to throw it out the window. I’ll make sure you learn, laugh, and maybe even love the metronome!

I combine professionalism with a warm, supportive approach that makes learning enjoyable for both kids and adults. With a 90%+ success rate in Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exams, I help students achieve excellent results while also nurturing creativity and confidence.
Whether you want structured progress through the RCM curriculum or casual learning for personal enjoyment, I adapt lessons to your goals. My students not only pass exams, they build a lifelong love for music!

Dominique is an amazing teacher. I’ve admired watching her patience with her students, that at times even for me can be difficult.
